ERDF Financial Support for SMEs in Sussex & Kent

11/09/2019

In spite of the business uncertainty over Brexit, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) will continue its funding of UK SMEs. In a recent announcement, £11.8 million of business support is to be made available to SMEs through the Manufacturing Growth Programme – as managed by the Economic Growth Programme, as part of Oxford Innovation.

SMEs based in East Sussex and Kent can apply for the previously mentioned financial ERDF support, to pay for improvements to their businesses. This includes SMEs planning to grow their business by increasing turnover, increasing marketing, producing new products and creating new jobs and processes.

The Manufacturing Growth Programme also provides SMEs with assistance from a ‘local manager’ – who will have years of relevant industry experience. Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) and regional Growth Hubs can verify the added value to SMEs in their area and have given their commitment to supporting the Manufacturing Growth Programme for another two and a half years.

If you’re an SME based in East Sussex or Kent, with plans to grow and develop – make the most of this opportunity and contact the Manufacturing Growth Programme to gain finance and business support.
